Aareböötle 2024

If you’ve never done it, you have to try it at least once!
If you’re already done it, you’ll want to do it again!
It’s time to kick back and float down the emerald river Aare.
Itinerary:
- 10:00 – Everyone meets up at the Bern Hauptbahnhof to take the 10:16 train to Uttigen. Duration 32 minutes.
- 11:00 – We are on the Aare!
- 3-4 hours later, or ~15:00, we make landing on the shores of Eichholz Park in Bern!
No doubt some people would prefer not to go on the watery expedition, and would rather meet up with us at Eichholz, where we will be chilling and grilling into the late afternoon.
As this event requires the best of weather, we will be keeping Saturday the 10.08.2024 as another possible window. In other words, if Saturday the 10.08.2024 is perfect weather, we will change this event to that Saturday instead.
Uttingen: Boats and water vests can be rented from here, and there is also a pumping station to inflate your own boat for Fr5 a boat.
